Can you do it? This is a simple exercise that you can try. If you already tried to quit porn addiction and you know how hard can be to resit the need to satisfy yourself while watching porn, this can help you. Make this statement for yourself or better yet, write it down. Start the timer and go back to what you were doing (working, relaxing, hanging out with friends, etc).
You will have a nice surprise when you will realize that the hour has passed and you completed this exercise. If you feel that you have more faith in you (self esteem), it is a good sign that you need to start with smaller steps to quit pron. You can continue the exercise with challenges for a few hours than 1 day, than a few days/ weeks. Until you feel you are ready to simple quit your addiction. No more exercises, simply decide that you will stop. While you follow this steps remember to start new activities. This way the change will be natural, as you will have something else to do instead of looking at porn.
